March 2015 Arty/Catty Auction

Every month, Community Cats Network offer a new item (or three!) for auction in order to help us to raise funds to continue our mission of neutering stray and feral cats.  The auction takes place on our Facebook page and bidding will end this month at 9pm on the 31st of March.  It is open to all; however, we will ask you to pay for postage if the item cannot be collected in Cork county.

Our first item for the March auction is a beautiful drawing, “Black Nose in a Box,” donated by East Cork artist, Tom Walsh.  You can check out Tom’s website here.

November 2014 Auction

Every month, Community Cats Network offer a new item (or two!) for auction in order to help us to raise funds to continue our mission of neutering stray and feral cats.  The auction takes place on our Facebook page and bidding will end this month at 8pm on the 22nd of November.  It is open to all; however, we will ask for postage if the item cannot be collected in Cork county.

Our first item for the November auction is this gorgeous blanket especially knitted for CCN by one of our supporters.  Your cat will be able to snuggle on it and stay warm all winter!

A Night at the Movies, in aid of Community Cats Network

Looking for something to do during the mid-term break? How about bringing your kids for a fun night at Movie Junction Drive In Cinema?
On the 1st of November, Movie Junction is organising a charity event in aid of Community Cats Network in order to raise awareness and funds for cat welfare.

Movie Junction will donate €4.00 to the charity from every ticket sold for the show, “Alexander & The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” at 6:45pm and “The Book of Life” at 6.30pm.

Charity tickets are also available at €25 per ticket, with €15.00 going direct to the charity and €10.00 covering the cost of the movie.  To get a charity ticket and help us to raise some much needed funds, please book online!

We will also have some face-painting and other surprises for you and your kids! Come early on the night and pop in to say hello!

Every kid dressed up will get a free treat.  Kids bringing a photo or drawing of their cat will also get a treat!

This month, we are auctioning this very seasonal cat bed with Valentine’s day approaching.  It is made of soft materials on which your cat will love to take a snooze.  It was created especially for CCN by Pet Beds York, whom we would like to thank.

Note that it comes without the stuffing and without the cat!

Birthday Rifa

Rifa: spanglish. Literally means “raffle”, but used as saying a certin gang or area is “the baddest” or “untouchable”. Mexican slang. (Urban Dictionary).

To mark our 1st birthday, we are having a rifa!  So wish a happy birthday to all the community cats in Cork and get your ticket now!  The draw will take place at our birthday fiesta in Sober Lane on the 25th of April (more details here).

Tickets will be on sale at the party, but if you cannot come, you can also buy them online.  They are €2 for a strip, €5 for 3 strips or €10 for 7 strips.  Just click on the photo below and enter the amount of your choice.  A photo of your tickets will be sent to you before the party.
