Street Collections 2019 – Round 3

This is our last round of street collections for this year and we really need your help. These events are important as they provide a vital source of income to support communities to neuter their local stray and feral cats. We are appealing to all, but more specifically to locals, to step up and donate an hour or two of your time to help out to raise funds to neuter cats in YOUR community. The success of these fundraisers rely on you and cats count on you!

Remember… A little bit of your time could change their lives forever!

Collection will take place on August 15th in Fermoy and on August 17th in Clonmel.

Collection will take place on June 14th in Youghal, on June 27th in Mitchelstown and on July 5th in Whitegate.

CCN’s 7th Birthday Raffle – April 2019

On April 27th, Community Cats Network will celebrate their 7th birthday. 7 years in existence and over 6,000 cats helped no mean feast!

To mark the occasion and to thank you for your support, we will have some fun competitions on our Facebook page from April 20th to 28th.

You can also help us to celebrate and raise funds to help more cats by supporting our birthday appeal. Tickets for the raffle are €2 each, €5 for 3 or €10 for 8 and can be bought here.

Prizes are as follows:

  • 1st prize: Large Handknitted Cat
  • 2nd prize: Diptyque of two photo prints by Alan Tobin
  • 3rd prize: Cat drawing by Carol May Hardie
  • 4th prize: Cat gift bag
  • 5th prize: Crabtree & Evelyn Sensational Shower Gel Collection set
  • 6th prize: Max Benjamin candle
  • 7th prize: Bracelet
  • 8th prize: Surprise

The draw will take place on April 29th at 9pm and winners will be announced on Facebook.

Note that if collection cannot be arranged locally (East Cork), postage will be at your own charge.

Give Paw Campaign in Maxi Zoo Midleton 2017

We are delighted to announce that Maxi Zoo Midleton have chosen Community Cats Network for the Give Paw campaign 2017. During the month of November, you can pop in store and buy a friendship wristband to show your support to animal welfare. For each wristband bought in the Midleton store, Community Cats Network will receive €1.50.

We will be at the Midleton store every Saturday in November from 11am to 5pm. You can call in to meet our volunteers and discuss the work we do, as well as give rubs to Prospero and Jasmin (formerly known as Madame Irma), cats who were rescued by CCN.

Give Paw Campaign in Maxi Zoo Midleton 2017

We are delighted to announce that Maxi Zoo Midleton have chosen Community Cats Network, along with Pauline’s Rescue, for the Give Paw campaign. During the month of October, you can pop in store and buy a paw to stick on a ball. You can write a message or the name of your own pet. For each paw, Maxi Zoo will donate a euro to their chosen charity.

We will be at the Midleton store on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th of October to raise awareness about the work we do. You can call in to meet our volunteers, as well as Prospero and Jasmin (formerly known as Madame Irma), two cats that were rescued by CCN.

Every month, Community Cats Network offer a new item (or two!) for auction in order to help us to raise funds to continue our mission of neutering stray and feral cats.  The auction takes place on our Facebook page and bidding will end this month at 9pm on the 15th of June.  It is open to all; however, we will ask you to pay for postage if the item cannot be collected in Cork county.

Our first item for the June auction is a comfy cat bed handmade and kindly donated by one of our supporters.

3 Years Old Already!

On the 27th of this month, Community Cats Network will turn 3 years old.  Three years of helping stray and feral cats in county Cork an beyond.

To mark this important event, we will be having a celebration of our Facebook page with some competitions and a raffle, so don’t miss out!

On behalf of the cats, we would like to thank you all for your support during those three years and we look forward to helping more cats in the year ahead of us.
