The Clonmel Carpark Cats

Over the past couple of months, these cats in a supermarket carpark have been brought to our attention by a lot of concerned people in Clonmel looking for help for them. We recently gained permission to proceed with a Trap-Neuter-Return project in the carpark and have made contact with some of the people feeding them. We’ve counted approximately 10 cats, some with injuries, but we expect some were hiding at time of assessment. To read the fully story and see the updates, click here.

We need help to raise funds to neuter & treat these cats. We appreciate any amount donated; big or small, it all helps!

You can donate on IDonate or by using Paypal. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Every Little Helps for Clonmel Cats

We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the charities for the community fund in Tesco in Clonmel.

We have been operating our Trap-Neuter-Return scheme in the South Tipp area for nearly two years now thanks to the dedication of one volunteer. In 2017 only, near to 100 cats were helped in the area. However, we have found it very difficult to raise enough funds to support the overwhelming number of cats we have been made aware of and not many carers seem to be in a position to cover for the cost of neutering or willing to organise fundraisers. As a result, we have had to turn down some of the enquiries we have received.

Being one of the recipients of the Tesco community fund is a fantastic opportunity to raise some vital funds so that we can continue to help out cats (and their people) in the area. Please, consider popping to Tesco in Clonmel to support the cause by putting your blue tokens in the CCN urn. You can also get in touch with ccntipp@gmail.com for more information.

Draw for hamper in Clonmel

We are having a raffle to win this lovely hamper in Southview Vets in Clonmel. Lines are €2 each and the draw will take place on the 26th of February. Please support by calling down and buying a line. All proceeds will go to neuter stray and feral cats in the town.

Unfortunately, without the support of the community for fundraising, we can only offer limited assistance and often have to turn down TNR projects if the carers cannot afford the discounted rate of neutering. Please, consider supporting this fundraiser, organising a fundraiser or donating to the South Tipp fund so that the great work started by our volunteer in Clonmel last year can continue.
