Christmas Cards and Calendars 2020

Our Christmas cards and calendars 2020 are out now!

We are very proud of our 2020 calendar, which features the photos and stories of some of the cats we have trapped during the year.  It costs €7 and would make an ideal stocking filler or gift to send abroad.

We are very grateful to Katie McGroarty from Cobh who designed this gorgeous calendar and to Anna and Steph for helping with proofreading.

Our Christmas cards also feature cats and kittens that CCN have been involved with during the year.  You can find the story of each cat inside the card.

The pack of cards costs €5 and contains 6 cards with a different design on each.  There are three models to choose from.

Model 5 contains cards that were kindly designed by Katie McGroarty and feature the stories of of Daisy the little traveller from Cloyne, some new tenants in Killavullen, the Blarney cats who were spoilt by the lads, a large colony in Cappoquin helped with good will, a colony on a carpark in Clonmel and the petshop pussyfooter from Ballincollig.

Model 4 contains cards that were kindly designed by Katie McGroarty and feature the stories of Little Miss Greedy Guts (Clonmel), the Summer of Love (Waterfall), a large colony in Dungarvan, Bluebell and Sunflower from Charleville, a Carer with a Big Heart in Mallow and a Colony in Ballinacurra. **LIMITED AVAILABILITY**

Model 3 contains cards that were kindly designed by Axelle Rychembusch and feature the stories of a colony in Ardmore, Major Tom from Kilady, a large TNR project in Youghal, a young and beautiful Cork city cat, a well-cared for colony in Midleton and of some unusual customers in Mitchelstown. **LIMITED AVAILABILITY**

Fun Online Bingo – November 2019

Do you like to play Bingo? Would you like to play from the comfort of your home? If so, look no further and you will be supporting a good cause too!

Online Bingo | CCN | Cat Purrse |11 2019

For the month of November, we are running an online Bingo on our fundraising Facebook page, The Cat Purrse. All proceeds will go to the neutering of stray and feral cats in North Cork.

To take part, it’s easy. Buy your card(s) online here (€2 per card or €10 for a sheet of 6 cards). We will email you a photo of your card, which you will need to print (or edit from your phone). Follow The Cat Purrse page where every day we will be announcing the drawn numbers from the 14th of February. Don’t worry if you missed one night you can catch up the following day by checking the photo album. We will be playing for a line, 2 lines and a full house. It’s a fun way to help cats!

Purrfect Auction – November 2019

Many of you are familiar with the one and only Purrfect Auction held by CCN to raise fund to neuter stray and feral cats in West Cork! If not, then do check it out! The auction starts on Thu 31 October and ends on Sun 10 November. There will be hundreds of items to bid on….

Food Appeal in Clonmel – 3/11/19

Our stock of wet food is running critically low in Clonmel. We would gratefully accept donations of wet food and tinned fish to help us feed ferals during their stay with us.

You can drop your donation and stop for a chat in Tesco, Clonmel on Sun 3 Nov from 2.30pm to 4pm. You can also drop your donation to Southview Vets.

Photo Competition – October 2019

For the month of October, we are running an animal photo competition on our fundraising Facebook page, The Cat Purrse. All proceeds will go to the neutering of stray and feral cats in South Tipperary.

To take part, it’s easy. Buy an entry (or more) online here (€5 per entry or €12 for 3 entries) and email your photo to ccntipp@gmail.com. Your photo will be uploaded on the Cat Purrse’s facebook album where the public can vote for it until the 30th of October. The 5 photos with the most votes will be sent to an independent jury to choose a winner and two runner-ups. The winner will be announced on Facebook at the start of November. There are three prizes to choose from – the winner will have 1st choice, while the runner-ups will have 2nd and 3rd choice.

Submissions are accepted until the 27th of October. 

Note that the photo must be your own and must be animal-themed. All animals welcome!

If collection cannot be arranged locally, the cost of postage will be at your own charge.

Street Collections 2019 – Round 3

This is our last round of street collections for this year and we really need your help. These events are important as they provide a vital source of income to support communities to neuter their local stray and feral cats. We are appealing to all, but more specifically to locals, to step up and donate an hour or two of your time to help out to raise funds to neuter cats in YOUR community. The success of these fundraisers rely on you and cats count on you!

Remember… A little bit of your time could change their lives forever!

Online Auction at The Cat Purrse – September 2019

This month at The Cat Purrse, we are having an auction to raise funds for TNR in North Cork and South Tipperary, where we have been really busy for teh past couple of years.

The auction will start on September 16th and close on September 27th at 8pm sharp. Every day, we will be adding new items for you to bid on. To bid, simply comment under the photo. There are many jewellery pieces, as well as craft items and art, but also toiletry sets, bags, toys, etc, so check it out and share with your friends!

Note that all items will be posted and that postage will be at your own charge. All items must be paid promptly.

 

Street Collections 2019 – Round 2

Our second round of street collections this year will take place very shortly. These events are important as they provide a vital source of income to support communities to neuter their local stray and feral cats. We are appealing to all for your support in donating an hour or two of your time to help out on the day. The success of these fundraisers rely on you and cats count on you!

Remember… A little bit of your time could change their lives forever!

Collection will take place on August 15th in Fermoy and on August 17th in Clonmel.
